My practice explores the moment when perception loses certainty and the human body becomes difficult to recognize. Through video, drawing, photography, painting, assemblage, and textiles, I fragment, conceal, and transform bodily forms until they shift between body, material, landscape, and image. Informed by my displacement between Venezuela and Germany, I examine how distance reshapes our relationship to memory, place, and identity. I am interested in what emerges when familiar forms begin to dissolve.
